We always welcome volunteers for our Teams. Please email us at [email protected] for more information on any Team of interest to you.

Elections Committee
The purpose of the Elections Committee is to nominate and administer elections for all necessary replacements for the following year's Executive Council. The Elections Committee consists of a chair, usually the past president, as well as the president-elect and 1-2 additional members appointed with the advice and consent of the board.

On an annual basis, this committee organizes all steps to allow members to nominate and vote for Executive office positions whose terms are ending. In order to encourage all members to participate in the election, secure online voting is enabled with results reported to the Executive.

Research and Advocacy Team
The mission of the Research and Advocacy Team is to report on, develop, and advocate for the growth and vitality of behaviour analysis in the Atlantic Provinces through exploration and dissemination of its past, present, and future.

Education Team
Throughout the year, this team explores opportunities for professional development for members, including organizing speakers for the annual meeting as well as other events. In addition, the team maintains our certification as an approved provider for BACB Continuing Education credits. The team investigates best available technology for effective webinars and/or video conferencing and brings recommendations to the executive.

Engagement Team

The team edits, publishes, and distributes items to the public as well as members as designated by the executive board and is responsible for the development and maintenance of all of APABA's online services. Social media initiatives such as the APABA Facebook page, and the Chapter website [www.atlanticprovincesaba.com] were created to allow us to take full advantage of the internet to assist our efforts.
